'The work of Ann Greenwood is courageous in a world where the spiritual life is out of fashion', writes The Reverend Ken Parker OAM. Indeed, in our world of frenetic pace and overabundance, her stylized abstract wool weavings and embroideries are an appeal to the inner spirit. Greenwood draws on a range of sources, from the mythological to the psychological, by way of the sacred with occasional deviations through landscape, to create luminous and transcendent visions in fibre.
